Patricia Gonzalez, RPC-C
(She/Her)
My clients seek support because they aren't living the life they know is possible for them. I specialize in helping individuals struggling with grief, anxiety, depression, and chronic overwhelm. Additionally, I support those dealing with self-limiting beliefs stemming from trauma and ADHD.
I help clients establish clear and achievable goals while honoring their emotional experiences. Using a holistic approach, we explore your mental process, challenge and reframe limiting beliefs, and cultivate emotional resiliency helping you regain your zest for life. My background as a lawyer has equipped me to guide clients in preventing burnout, overwhelm and other pressures associated with high pressure careers.
I truly believe that therapy empowers people to recognize their inherent worth, uncover unique gifts, make choices aligned with their values, and liberate themselves from regret, shame, guilt, and resentment. It's a journey towards authenticity and freedom, transcending societal standards that may not align with one's true self.
I personally understand the challenges that come with immigration, ADHD, infertility and navigating the complexities that arise in intercultural relationships. Through my experience, I've gained the ability to understand, empathize, and guide others on their own paths.
I use an integrative approach of CBT, DBT and narrative therapies to support my clients. As a Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner (NLP), I use techniques that help my clients overcome mental and emotional barriers and achieve their full potential. I believe in evidence based methods that allow you to explore the challenges you face while empowering you to live the life you imagine.
I am currently accepting clients Wednesdays, Thursdays & Fridays.

Ben Blackman, RPC-C
(He/Him)
My name is Ben and I am a Registered Professional Counsellor (RPC-C). I work with client to address all aspects of grief and loss, depression, anxiety, childhood trauma, neglect, stress, self-esteem and identity, and relationship problems.
I am originally from the UK and moved to Vancouver in 2019, and now consider it home. Prior to working as a therapist, I spent twelve years working within project management roles for the corporate, local government, defense and construction industries. During this time, I learned a great deal about organization, interpersonal relationships, effective communication, and how to identify and amplify the strength of others.
I was always interested in psychology, and learning about human behavior. It wasn’t until I lost my Dad that I truly understood the value of a compassionate and skilled therapist. I realized that it was my purpose to support others through the most challenging life events. My priority is to give my clients a safe place to process their experiences, better understand themselves and as a result, grow as an individual.
Outside of the counselling room, I’m a Passionate advocate for women’s rights and LGBTQ+ rights. I'm currently doing 30 hours of training for Vancouver hospice learning about palliative care.
My go-to modalities are CBT, Narrative therapy and Existential Therapy. I work with my clients to build the tools and self-understanding they need to thrive.
I’m currently accepting clients on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
If you can’t find a time that works for you, feel free to email me at ben@adventuringloss.com.
